Michael T. Courtney, Minnesota Personal Injury Attorney
Michael T. Courtney is a key addition to our litigation department at TSR Injury Law. Prior to joining the firm he practiced with the Crabtree Law Firm in Stillwater, Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 2002, Michael relocated to Minnesota to attend Hamline University School of Law. He received his Juris Doctor from Hamline in 2005.
Michael has experience handling various types of cases including personal injury, no-fault/underinsured/uninsured, and premises liability. He recently won a car accident case for Dawn, a woman that was rear-ended and sustained neck and back injuries. The insurance company offered $7,500 to settle the case. At trial, the jury awarded her over $29,000. The insurance company will also be forced to pay her an additional $14,000, as a penalty. Another recent car accident settlement.
Michael is carrying on a family tradition in the law. His father is currently serving as a District Court Judge, in the State of Iowa, after a long and distinguished career as a trial attorney.
Michael grew up in Algona, Iowa. He currently lives with his wife in Plymouth. In his free time he enjoys reading, and rooting for his favorite sports teams including the Iowa Hawkeyes, Twins, and Vikings.
